Situation
A CallManager certificate was approaching expiry. The secure SIP trunk and the encrypted phone registrations depended on it, but nobody had its expiry date in view.

What the data showed
The certificate overview showed it amber at 30 days to expiry, and the certificate-expiry alert e-mailed the team with node, service and expiry date.

Resolution
The certificate was renewed in a planned window. Expiry would have meant a dead trunk and phones failing secure registration on the same morning, with two unrelated-looking symptoms.
