Delivery
Image deployment
Virtual appliance for VMware and Nutanix; Azure on request. A short console wizard sets network, DNS, NTP and the admin user – fully offline.
Running in minutes
Setup wizard, connection to the UC components with service accounts (read-only where possible), first dashboards the same day.
Offline upgrades
Signed upgrade packages delivered via virtual CD. No internet access required at any point.
Customization
Universal basics for every on-prem customer anywhere. Technical, political or business specifics upon request.
Security
Air-gapped
No cloud dependency, no agents, no internet connection required. Cloud integration (Webex, MS Teams) is optional and off by default.
Least privilege by default
Analytics uses read-only accounts wherever the component allows it; Meeting Server and CUBE need privileged accounts, listed in the setup guide. Configuration snapshots are kept, compared and downloaded – never written back.
No secrets in snapshots or logs
Snapshots and logs are collected without credentials or secrets inside; the UC credentials are stored encrypted on the appliance. Access to the platform is per user; every change made in CUBE Management and Video Room Management is recorded.
Signed and verified
Upgrade packages are signed; management changes are written as verified CLI with rollback available.
Data retention
All data stays on the appliance, as long as you decide – up to 10 years, set per record type. Log retention is configurable per record type; logs are reachable over the internal Analytics SFTP server.

Questions
Does any data leave our network?
No. FRINK runs as one virtual appliance inside your network, with no cloud connection and no agents on your systems. It works fully air-gapped.
What does it run on, and how long does setup take?
Deploy the image on VMware or Nutanix. The setup wizard runs offline and takes minutes; then you connect the UC components you want to see.
Which systems does it cover?
CUCM, IM & Presence, Unity Connection, Meeting Server, Expressway, CUBE and IOS-XE voice gateways, Cisco RoomOS endpoints, plus Shure and Lightware devices. The coverage table lists every component and what is on the roadmap.
Can it change our configuration?
Analytics, Health Check and Live Data only read. Changes happen only in CUBE Management and Video Room Management, through validated forms, and are recorded in an audit trail. Configuration snapshots contain no secrets.
How long is data kept?
As long as you decide – up to 10 years, with a retention policy per record type. Logs stay on your own storage.
Do you sell directly?
We sell through local partners, trained by our engineering team in Austria. Request a demo and we bring in the partner for your region – or become a partner yourself.
